History Culture of art in Netherlands
In the early 1500s, an intellectual movement that grew in the Renaissance to spread from Italy to the northern Europe. Desiderius Erasmus, was a Dutch scholar and pastor, he became the leading humanists in the north. His writings uphold Christian values while challenging the practices of the Catholic church leaders at the time.

There are some interesting modern sculptures in many cities, particularly in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Utrecht and Amsterdam have a statue dedicated to Anne Frank.
Anne Frank he is a German-Dutch Jewish girl who died in a concentration camp during World War II. Diary, published after his death, made him famous. The Netherlands also has several concert halls, such as The Hague Philharmonic, Netherlands Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
